i only have gel and hairspray so will it be easy 4 me 2 get it like that? also i kinda have wavyish hair but its fine with gel, except 4 the front, so it there a way that i can make the front of my hair straighter without using irons (or whatever u call those things)?

also if i get my hair cut what should i tell the person whos cutting my hair (as in, for example, "short on sides, long on top" etc. those are the only commands they respond to hahaha)?

thnx for ur help guys :)

It looks like he has a faux hawk.

A strong Gel would work fine but I would look into getting a pomade or something similar.  It won't be as hard looking or feeling as a gel.

I would take a pic. to your stylist.  His hair is (obviously) layered, shorter on the sides and longer on the top, probably/possibly texturized, and easy to do.  Any hairstylist should be able to do that.  A pic usually works best.

You can always straighten your hair with a dryer, round brush, and some gel, and then push the hair into the faux hawk style with some pomade.

It shouldn't take long to do especially if the hair is that short.
