I agree in theory, but think all three of the pixies featured (Michelle Williams, Neve Campbell, Selma Blair) look worse (in Neve's case, far worse) than the pre-cut long hair.

Neve doesn't have a pixie. She was going for punk. From what I've read Selma was going for something she'd like, not something that looks good. Michelle's change is one of the biggest upgrades I've seen a celebrity have.
Since the pixie hit the scene (Jean Seberg in Breathless?), I think it's the only hairstyle that has been stylish at all times. Various long and short hairstyles come and go, but this one lasts. |

I'd have to agree with the other posters. Michelle Williams looks great.Selma's looks ok (and I still dont care for the color either) Is it just me,or does Neve Campbell have too big a head for that style or something? I cant figure it out,just something looks...wrong. |

Neve's haircut is NOT a pixie, but a Halloween monstrosity. Almost as horrid as Selma's original hack-job was. Selma, BTW, you are NOT a blonde. (LOL) The cut is OK now, but her chin is too angular for her face to be flattered by really short crop of any color. As for Michelle, this is an attractive cut, but somehow she looks about 40 to me with this style. A darn good 40, but she is 26! Best, Bob

Michelle doesn't look as old as 40. She looks like she is in her 20s with her pixie cut. I agree of the 3 women, she looks the best in her pixie. |
