Ladies,

Can anyone help me with suggestions? I've been wanting this style since I was a kid and it seems like much more is possible nowadays! Been thinking maybe a weave is the answer, but what hair should I get? Any other ways?

Hope you can help me...

Go with a weave.

My hairs naturally afro curly and i use corkscrew weft from afrocare when i dont straighten it.

Or if your natural hairs pretty short get it pinch braided in, so u have the top braided and the ends loose afro. it looks nice

If you get one you MUST post pics, there are so many ladies with this hair style and it's actually really nice on women!

BellaExotic: I used to get the pinch braids with tight curls, but never did it with afro... . I'll try a weave first. Good thing is that I won't have to go and buy expensive hair since I'm going for that messy look anyway. I bought a wig at a carnival shop and I think I can get away with a big afro-I love it!

Poose: For sure I'll post pictures, even if I end up looking like a clown. I hope I won't, but if I don't try it now I'll never know, right?
Just want to have some fun trying new things...

The hair you want for this style is probably here: monahaircenter.com.. And the ladies are right the best way to acheive this is with a sew-in install.. You will have to get a stylist who knows how to do this and leaving none of your own hair out.. Good luck..

Thanks ladies! I'm going for the weave as soon as I can. I live in a neighborhood with lots of African hairdressers so I'm asking them a lot of questions! I'll have a look at that monahaircenter-site so I can see what you mean, Divavocals!
Oh by the way, I got a cool job: working for MAC, YAY!!!! Finally we have a store in Belgium!
