hey, Im an afro american whos planing to dread for the 1st time... the thing is my hair grows extremely slow, but i was wondering if I were to grow my hair out about 1 inch long. and then had extensions platt into my hair. (thick texture ext.)would they lock after a while? provided i used regular dreading maintence?

yea they would...a salon named UNCLE FUNKYS DAUGHTER does this procedure here in HOUSTON...check em' out,they expensive though!!
