Ok so my hair currently looks like this:

Sorry bout my butt..lol :-)

But I'd like it to look like Ashlee Simpsons in this pic(one on left)

BUT Im just not sure what to do...I usually use the Bohyme Silky Straight..but I jut dont see it doing this kind of wave...so I was thinking maybe the bohmye soft wave??? EbonyLine sent me the wrong stuff a while ago...and I never returned it because I got busy and forgot...so im kidna stuck with 22inch color 24 silky straight bohyme...so I dunno if I should try to perm it..but i read not to do that on this forum..soo hmmm... I think AShlee's color is like some kind of honey blonde with like 613 highlights...any advice would be amazing!:-)

When I saw that picture of Ashlee awhile back I loved the hair and color too!!!   I think the soft wave will not have enough curl??  ... (but you can always curl it!)  have you tried the FR??? it has much more curl and holds it!  You do look amazing!

It just looks like body wave scrunched with mousse and a little bit of wax and a honey color on it.

French refined would look similar to.

Scrunch it when its wet then when its dry seperate it with wax

or braid it loosely over night and in the morning just seperate it with wax

Hon, you are absolutely gorgeous!!!
As far as the extensions in your pics, are those 24 or 613?  In the middle 'butt' Big%20smile pic, how did you achieve those waves?
And one more question for ya, i'm light like you, too (well..naturally i'm quite dark)-- Is your hair wefted or individuals?  And do you have much trouble at the crown when regrowth comes in?

Thanks!
again-- you look fabulous Smile

thanks everyone....
Rocket.. No i havent tried FR...my hair is naturally realllllly straight...so Id have to perm it...and I dont want it super curly...is FR reallly curly?? Can you straighten it??

Bella...I have tried to do that with the silky straight..and it doesnt work lol..thats why I was wondering if it'd work with the others... I tried the loose braid too...but then my ends get all funky...grrr..I guess im gonna have to try another type of hair...

Dharma...Its 613...They sent me 24..and Now i have to try dye that I guess..bcuz it for sure doesnt match my 613...lol..I spent about an hour curling my hair in like ringlets or whatevr with a 1inch curling iron..then it just kinda fell out when i was outside shooting... I do individuals...shrinkies in particular..but...im not really liking them anymore...sometimes with the blonde...u can see them and stufff....I bought some of the fusion bonds from shrinkies.net so Ill let ya kow how that goes..what do u mean do i have trouble??? trouble with what??

Sorry about your butt?      Sorry about my envy! You're looking great, E!

I think Ashlee's hair looks like a silky straight that's been wrapped around the outside barrel of a curling iron. Those soft, loose waves looks just like it.

thanks amm...i think im just a little bored with the silky straight..sometimes...its just funky lol..i guess id like a lil more of the wavee..or curl...the bf kinda likes my hair curly..hehe... what do u mean the outside barrel?? I wanna install this weekend...so im tryen to make decisions on what I wanna do...
AMM...you said before that i dont have to pretip hair if I dont want to if I am using the fusion bonds right??

and OH YA...i shot for Playboy this past weekend...and the makeup artist/hair whatever...told me my extensions were going to ruin my hair and I wouldnt have any hair..and I said...weird because I have been doing shrinkies for like 2 years now..and my hair has been fine..lol..i was like it even grows faster sometimes...he didnt really say much after that...HAHAHA  :-)
As soon as I decide what I should do with my hair this time..Ill take before and after and post them....hmmmmm any suggestions lol

i think the french refined MIGHT be a little too tiny of a wave to give that look....but body wave would, scrunched with mousse, twirled up in boinks overnight, and bohyme color#16 added in with 22/24 would be very close to that (if not that exactly?).......ashley simpson sure looks different now!....i hate seeing her bones poking out through her chest though

Ooooooo Now I want to make I tippped Bohyme, it looks awesome!
Didn't someone get waves like that from braiding the hair in bundles then perming it? (or pouring solution on it...)
They did it a certain way but I cannot remember who did it...

Your pics are great!  You must work out ALOT or have great  genes!  How are your extensions applied?  Sewn wefts , bonded, etc?  It looks great.  My hair is as light as yours and I am having a hard time deciding color #.  Is yours in these pics a 22?  Are you in Playboy next month?  I just showed my husband your pic and he said WOW!!  You go girl!!Wink

I forgot to mention, I think the Bohyme wave would be too kinky.  I asked about it also for achieving the same effect.

lol i SHOULD work out...hahaha :-) I do the shrinkie method..well my mom does it..I use 613 on my hair..but that sometimes tends to be tooo yellow...so i bleach it..or atleast try to...so its as light as my hair...They havent told me which month or edition im gonna be in..but I might get a cover :-)

sometimes I do..sometimes I dont...me and my mom figured out a way to put them in..closer to the bottom...we do about 3 rows..and I make the pretip ends as big as thhey can be to fit into the shrinkie still...and we dont leave any hair in between...it seems to work perfect...i have no complaints...i dont lose anymore hair than usual..if anything i lose less...and it covers great..and lays super flat...u can barely feel them...we do like a U..but like really wide...if that makes sense...(i guess kinda like a curve in the shape of a U..i coudl pull out the calculus and say a what...concave up parabale..or something lol) for the last row...and go up by my ears...leaving some to cover if I put it up...and it works awesome...Ill have to take a pic when I redo it to show everyone...with thin hair I cant go up too far because otherwise it shows really bad (learned my lesson...lol) I always make sure I put some over my ears so as to achieve that like layered look in the front so it blends awesome.... Make any sense??

Remember me when you get to Hef's!!Smile  Let us know when the issue will come out.  How short is your hair before the ext.?  Your mom does a GREAT job.  So, you use shrinkies or wefts?  I was looking at colors and 622 or 624 looks about the right color.  What do you think?Wacko

I think you would have to use different colors to achieve that look, probably a 14B/613/16 in Bohyme silky straight or Bodywave, 22 inches.
Then maybe a deep wave curler (God knows I am not an expert in the field of curly hair!) amd some mousse.

I was in the hair store today and wanted the 613 Bohyme.  It was too yellow and they told me to use 20 vol. to bleach them slightly.  Approve

to bleach them, I bought this powder bleach from Sally's...Ive used a diff number of them, and they all work pretty well, and I mix it with the pure white 40 vol. developer...its still kinda hard to get ALL the yellow out...But once i dyed some bohyme brown then decided i watned it blonde again and bleached it..and it came out awesome...no problems and the hair was still really soft and shiny... :-)

Ive been wearing Bohyme #613 for a couple of years and this current intstall I decided to tone the hair, I left the toner on for a matter of a minute or less. The hair toned so very quickly that if I didnt rinse it right back off it turned grey. I most definitely can tell a difference in the quality of this batch of hair that I've toned.

The hair is not bad, but there is definitely a difference.

ya i believe you sherrie...i dunno why but I feel like the 613 has been getting reallllllly yelllow..atleast the ones i get from ebonyline...because all i would do it lighten my roots..nothng else...and the 613 just gradually started to not match my hair when I have been doing the samething for 2 years...it was like alot more yellow than my hair...so i was tryen to bleach it to make the yellow go away!!!!!!!!!!! lol

DisapproveI looked at 613 in Bohyme yesterday and it was WAY too yellow.  I looked at another brand with the same number and it was much whiter.  Now I'm a little scared to order it online unless there is a return policy.  xoxosnow, do you buy the wefts or single strands?  The Bohyme is much better quality than any of the others.  I am going to call them and ask about a platinum type shade.  I'll update...........

but i just ordered pretipped hair extensions in #60 pale platinum. i emailed them and they told me that this color  is few shades lighter than the 613 and it has more of a whiteish tone compared to the yellowish tone in 613.
