Hi,
I am new to this forum, but have learned so much!!!

I have been using Goldwell Topchic for a couple of years, with great results. I use a mix of 6nn & 6G with 20V.
I did my root touchup, and this time, the color came out lighter at my roots.I have such good luck with this color, that I never pull it thru, just roots.
I am wondering if mayber I might have more greys now, would that effect the end result  now? I leave the color on for 30 min. but maybe I need to increase the time due to more grey?  I dont think its that noticable, but it has me baffaled.
I would greatly appreciate any help or thoughts!!
Thanks so much!!
Renee

Was is warm when you colored you hair?  Sometimes heat speeds up the process and we can get what is called hot roots.

Hi
You have ended up with root glow, the heat of your scalp has developed the colour quicker, and dont forget this is new hair growth at the roots, basically virgin hair. You should colour the ends first then the middle lengths, then last the root area. I hope this helps for next time.
