some say roll some say no. I personally find it better to roll the shrinkie. But I think its more about what works best for you.

removal is done by reheating the shrink tube until it warps and you just slide the entire shrinkie and strand down the hair shaft while still clamped inside the iron. Any residue that remains on the hair where the shrinkie and strand were at can be removed with a bit of citrus remover or acetone.

I usually don't roll the shrinkie, but I press on it with my fingers  while it's still hot to flatten it.   I think it seals better.

I usually roll/mush them a bit after they have been heated, and I've had no problems with shedding. Just be careful to not burn your fingers! I made that mistake the first time I tried it. I've tried both the acetone and the citrus remover, and I definitely prefer the citrus-- I find that it is gentler on hair and doesn't smell nearly as gross as some of the other removers I've tried.

my mom used to roll them...but then i wanted to try the flat because i felt like sometimes u could feel them more if they were rolled...but now that we decided to flatten them...but id ont think I like it because they fall out really easy...atleast in my hair they doo...i used to not lose one for alteast a month...month and a half...and i was loosing  them the second week i had them in... :-( Also..be careful because I ordered some from yourhairshop a while ago and they didnt say they werent adhesive lined..which i had purchased from them before (and they were adhesive lined when i first purchased from them)..and after i applied them..and they all fell out...I realized they werent adhesive lined...and they made up that excuse that oh we dont advertise that they are adhesive line...so I wasnt very happy..and ordered from shrinkies.net...so be careful with that! To remove i just purchased AMM(shrinkies.net) citrus remover...works good... :-)

Has anyone tried to heat it back up and push it back up the hair strand, with the same pretipp in it? Too gooey? It'll probably just fall apart, eh?
