what size is a 1/8 guard with the blade raised? cuz that takes alot of my hair when i want a trim, but the next size doesnt do anything... what do u do to trim?

when u guys go in 4 a trim when wolfin what do u do? ive been cuttin for like a year. but i was cuttin b4 wavin

a 1/8" with the guard raised is a very low 1/4" cut. when i do that on my hair my right sides fades completely because the wave length is low on that side. the knob on the side of the clippers raises the cut by a 1/8" so whatever guard your using add will add 1/8" height to your hair. you can also try cutting your hair ATG with the 1/4" guard and the knob all the way forward. that should get more hair off your head than the 1/8" WTG.
