can someone please explain to be why Motions is bad. I have heard people say you shouldn't use it because in the long run it will cause breakage dues to the high amount of protein and silicone they use. Is this the reason or are their others?

it depends on the hair type. i have been using motions for years and it didnt have any adverse effects on my hair.

I guess it would depend on which Motion product you were talking about.

I have bee using  the Lavishing Shampoo and the deep conditioner for about 7 years and my hair has not falling out or broken off yet.

I once used it and it made my hair hard and brittle. It was dry all the time no matter how much of the motion sprays I put in it. The shampoo used to turn out a nice little bounce but the rest of the products I found very harsh on my relaxed hair!

I didn't have a problem with the Lavish shampoo (although I try to now avoid sulfates) but their hair lotion is full of petroleum and mineral oils that lead to build up and breakage. As far as the conditioner it always left my hair feeling mushy, coated, and stuck with seeds in my hair.

I'm not a fan of the Motions line, but this shampoo is the truth. It leaves your hair feeling as if it has been deep conditioned.

I love the lavishing shampoo but their hair lotion, was too greasy and heavy, it weighed my hair down and would loosen my curl, which would be good when I wanted my hair straight, but it was way too greasy/icky like

I used to use motions and it's not bad but not the best hair line I've ever used. For me it has to be Kera Care. I used to use it (before going natural). I love it and I recommend it. :)

-Lavish Conditioning Shampoo

the alcohol content! Check the back of the label and the first ingredient is what is most in the product and so forth.
