Okay. I don't even know how to began to do a search for this.

When i was in Virginia last week for vacation, i got my haircut near Howard at this barber shop and i asked this barber for a line up.

Instead, he cleaned up the back of my neck wit a clipper, lined everything up (with a straight razor) and when he did the front of my hairline, he trimmed the hair on my hairline by grabbing my hair with a comb and shavin it off wit a clipper. All this for 9 dollars but it was like he gave me a trim and tape up.

Does anyone know exactly what kinda haircut or trim he gave me? because this "line-up" had my hair lookin clean like a fresh cut and i was wolfin pretty hard. Usually, i hate wolfin because the front part of my hair hangs over my forehead like bangs and it don't look clean but this barber trimmed the front of my hair to make it look like a low cut even tho my hair was really high.

Hope someone knows what i am talkin about.

That was a line up. Depending on what type of barber you go to they do additional work even though you only asked for a line up.

I'll give you a perfect example. A lining at the shop I go to costs ten dollars. But when I go in for one, he lines me up, tapes the back, trims up my facial hair, and he will also trim some hair off the sides and top if you ask.

Damn. The barbers that cut my hair are wack then. If i ask for a line up ($6) they just trace a clipper over my sideburns, hairline and neck. No trim or nothin. If i ask for a tape up, they charge me $15.

alls i need sometimes is a trim. Sometimes i think my barbers don't know how to cut waves because they either bald or have low fades. Hell, they don't even brush my hair when they cut.
