i want to go blonde, but how?!
i'm 15, and i have dark brown long hair.
the first time i dyed it, was right before my sisters wedding in october 2005. since then i have dyed it different shades of medium to dark brown 6 times. that first time was in a nice salon, by one of my sisters best friends. every other time has been by box. i have never been fully satisfied with my hair color, in the sun, in pictures, or in general. i just don't want to have brown hair anymore. i was born with strawberry blonde hair, and over time it turned to dirty blonde with a slight red tint. this drove me crazy, with my freckles, i did NOT want red hair what so ever, and that is still the case. about 6 weeks ago, i decided i wanted to go blonde. i saw ashley tisdales hair, and thats exactly what i wanted. golden blonde hair, with platinum highlights and dark brown roots and low lights. a friend of mine knows a very good stylist who will give me a generous discount. i just want to know HOW he might go about doing it without frying my hair.

You should definitely go to a salon again. It is fairly easy these days to get to blonde (look how many times britney Spears went back and forth before she shaved it off)
Just make sure you tell the stylist that you have colored it dark.(because DYED darker hair is actually harder to lighten than naturally dark hair) With that information everything should be fine.
They will probably bleach it,but done by a skilled person it should not damage your hair much.
Also, take a picture with you of how you want it to look. There are many varieties of blonde shades,so you want to make sure you get the one you want.
