Hi everyone,
I'm fairly new to hair extensions (since last October).  I love them.
I am a young grandmother (46).  I broke my ankle last summer (Aug '06) and my self esteem plummetted as I recuperated in my house for 5 months (very bad break!).  First thing I did after 5 months was go get my hair coloured and extensions put in.  Made me feel like a girl again!
Started with my shoulder length, layered hair and had three rows put in.
In January this year I went down to two rows.
QUESTION:  I have a question for anyone with the answer:  My own hair is now about 4 inches shorter than my longest extension.  I am wondering if I can go down to one row of extension>  Anyone have just one row?  I don't need the extensions to add volume as my own hair is plenty full.  Just wondering if one row would be enough to give me lenth?
Need an answer soon as I'm booking a reweaving appt very soon.

You could go down to one row but it will be harder to blend in.  Sometimes the hair that is added up closer to the occipital bone, even when not adding lenght is used to integrate your hair with the length of the extensions.  You could try dropping down to one row and worst case scenario is that you go back in and have a higher row added in.
