I don't really want to dye my hair, i have bright red hair and I don't really want to keep it forever. I was just wondering if theres any easy way to make my red hair fade so it looks like light brown. Ive noticed that many adults who had red hair as children now have brown is there anyway to speed up this process?

I'm confused about whether you dyed it bright red, or if its naturally bright red.
Dyed red fades naturally with washes. If its natural, you will
probably have to dye it. Whether its dyed or not, it cannot fade
to light brown either way though because bright red is already lighter
than light brown, so removing more pigment from it would head it for
strawberry blonde, then light blonde. You'd need to add pigment
to it (dye it) to get it brown.
The adult hair tends to get darker with age, that is not so much
fading, as the haircolor just coming out of the head darker (the way
natural blondes tend to get darker as they age).
