you could always go with the good ol` standbys (re: the ones we always used to do :o)
pull a high ponytail supertight and curl the HELL out of the stuff sticking out of the rubberbands and tie ribbons that are your colors (ooh, look at me being original.. heehee, things have changed a lot since my days... ) OR youc ould jsut do a half up half down thing with supercurly EVERYTHING... hrm... or you could have your other cheerleading friends help make you fun and spirit-y (is that a word? hope so:o)...we always used to like doing evch others hair..maybe they have some ideas you all could use
hope this helped :o) good luck on your first game!

you could try doing cornrows/twists on the front part of your head, creating a natural headband, and then curl the rest of your hair. Or there is a really neat style where the top layer of the hair is gathered into small rubber bands and then separated and then gathered again, creating a net look. It looks neat and you could even do it where after you create the natural hair net, you use some of that hair mascara (the kind that is colored and sparkly) and color the "net" sections your school colors. Or maybe, if your hair is straight, use the coloring to create streaks throughout your hair (school colors again) and then just do some simple braids (two big braids or a bunch of little braids. That way you have an interesting twist on a simple style!

Hey everyone, thank you for your help, i am sitting here with my curlers in place and I am ready to tell ya how its turning out- well I comibined almost all the ideas into one, plus one of the styles i saw on this site. Well i am doing twists into a pony tail, but really cool twists that have 2 different types, they slant , one to left one to the right, so the ones in back intersect! and i am curlin the heck out of my hair right now! so i am really excited . Ive got the hair, now i just gotta get my spirit and my poms and i am on my way to tomorrows game- wish me luck- nighty night!
