Inspired by some of the rich mocha browns that have been running through my hands lately, I did a brown/reddish/light install with ESG hair. The colors are dark auburn, chestnut brown, dark blonde and the lightest is a #16 to match my highlights. The darkest layer is about a #2. The top pic on the right is with flash so it came out bright but hopefully I captured the various colors below. Enjoy the porn <pant pant>!

Install: ESG, 25" longest length, 10oz, tape method.

Jaw drops to floorShocked.i think this is the most beautiful install I've seen on you.And your other installs were always fabulous.I love the light and dark mix. They mix together like they were meant to be.

So this is the ESG I've been seeing and hearing about. Its so gorgeous. How does it compare to the virgin asian you have.

Thanks!

And gals, have you tried the http://www.herbalessences.com/us/collections/hello_hydration/ - Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner ? OMG! OMG!

LHD, the virgin is black-dark brown never processed, is on hand-tied 10-12" sections. ESG can also be black-dark brown never processed and on up to 613 with various blended colors on thin no beard/slight short hairs on thin machine wefts.

Malibu, thanks! 1/5" barrel iron was used wrapping the hair around the barrel starting close to the scalp and wrapping downward. I prefer that over the circular I guess what some have called pageant type curls. :)

hi Geri, i use the tape with a thin layer of LG over each row of tape and although i usually save 'moisturizing' shampoos for the ends only, i've used this one successfully all over with NO slipping of my wefts

and amm, is all that hair heavy? (which if it were on my head, looking like that, i dont think i'd care if it were!)

Loving the feedback. Gobble gobble!

LBo - Hee! Only a few careened off the road. I did wrap it around myself when the SO and I went to see Grindhouse last night. Theaters are so cold but I was prepared!

Nothing for sale with the ESG. This was just a fun show off personal install.

Cody, yes yes yes... get some of that stuff. It's awesome!

I LOVE the way it looks, but Amm, all your installs are luminous.
I've never seen a 1/5" barrel iron.  Is the barrel really only 1/5" diameter?  That's tiny!  I think you need to do a tutorial on your method for getting those amazing curls...please
Also, did you use small pieces of the 16 to get that highlighted look, or is that just from the camera flash?  We need your secrets!!!

Thanks, Olinda!

I apologize for my typo as the barrel is 1.5" -- the period and the "/" are right next to each other on the keyboard and I hit the wrong one. It's a one and a half inch barrel.

Yes, they are small pieces of #16. I'd estimate one ounce total was used of that color.

I'll do a tutorial on the curl technique. :)

1.5 sounds more like it!
I'd love to see how you get such great curls, I've never been able to achieve those kind of curls with a curling iron.

Gorgeous, flawless. . .a GREAT blend, as usual. . .

OK a few questions now.

1) About how much hair did you put in? (i.e. how many rows)
2) WHEN WHEN WHEN can we get our hands on this hair? ? ? I installed the last of my samples on my sister yesterday. . .it's SUCH gorgeous hair!

Thanks for sharing your handiwork  again!!

Fina

Hi Fina!

1) I tripled and even quadruple wefted some of the rows. I have four rows in the back and only one row on each side directly between crown and temple. I quadrupled those so I have lots of fullness around the face and it tapes naturally to the length.

2) :( The shipment came this week and I promised a retailer in January that they had first dibs. They bought the whole thing. I won't get my next order done for a while. Please don't hurt me.

I did save a couple wefts for my next install. Check out the colors! Yow!

OOOHHHH I am sooo depressed!  When do you expect the next shipment????  I was so looking forward to getting my hands on this hair.  I'm going to cry myself to sleep tonight!

amm.... OMG!!!  G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S!!!

when you triple & quadruple the wefts i'm assuming that means there's no way you're folding the tapes over the top right?  I have enough to double & fold over...oh...then again, i do split the width first so maybe i have to take back my ass-umption...LOL    LOL

please save me...do you fold over, and do you use lg to reinforce them too?  i'd LOVE to install that much hair!
