AYE WAT UP GUYZ LONG TIME NO SEES I ANIT BEEN ON HERE FO ABOUT A YEAR OR 2 BUT ANYWHO LOOK I WAS ON THE WAY TO HAVING COMPLETE 360S BUT I SORT OF ACCIDENTLY GREW OUT MY HAIR TO A FRO WHICH MADE ME PICK IT OUT LATER I DECIDED TO GO BACK TO WAVES AND GOT A HAIR CUT WEN I DID MY WAVES WHERE ALL GONE!!! ( THIS HAPPENED ABOUT 4 MONTHS OR 5 MONTHS AGO) I HAD THAT MEXICAN/ WHITE PEOPLE HAIR KINDA IT LOOK LIKE I HAD SPIKES I ASKED MY BARBER WAT WS UP HE KEPT SAYIN * WAT U PUT IN YOUR HEAD WAT U PUT IN YOUR HEAD* BUT I ANIT SAY NUTIN CUZ I COULDNT IF I HAD A FRO DUMBASS BUT ANYWHO ITS BEEN 4 MONTHS AND I'VE BEEN BRUSHING MY HAIR AND STILL NO WAVES MY HAIR HAS LAID BACK DOWN OVER THE TIME PERIOD AND NOW ITS SORT OF START IM GETTING THEM BACK A LITTLE BIT BUT NOW IM NEEDING SOME HELP AND ADVICE ASAP I FOLLOWED MY OLD METH THAT I POSTED UP HERE A WHILE BACK BUT STILL NO RESULTS IF ANY ONE HAS ANY ADVICE OR HELP I WOULD APPERCIATE IT!!!

Yessur. Sounds like you already know what to do....... Just pick up your brush game and have some patience. You'll be back in no time. Add some length to your hair before you get a cut. From your old pix you was getting it cut to low. Go with a 1 guard. -------------

Who cares if you cool with your barber if you're not getting the results you want. Tell him you're training your hair for waves and you was told that he should use a 1 guard. If it's a problem end your relationship with him and get a new barber. You're paying him....Remember that. -------------

At least 4 weeks if you have no patience. 6 weeks would be best. Do this until you have your desired wave pattern and then you could go back to getting cuts on a regular basis. If you a serious waver you should wolf as much as possible. This will bring depth and define your waves. -------------

man i fogot to ask this last question once i start growing my hair out or that 6week period do i switch my brush from a sodt to a hard or do i keep up wit da softie???
also i brush FORWARD=TOP DOWN=BACK SIDES=DOWN should iswitch back up to doing it rite brush the sides sideways or keep brushing it down cuz i can never get waves on the side of my head!!!! ------------- THE KEY TO 360'S IS TO BRUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I personally think that's your own personal preference. The only reason everybody's waves go in the same direction is because they all brush in the same direction. But just in case your hair is already in the most common pattern, you should brush forward at and angle. Brush the back down and the top forward. -------------
