Just wondered what the difference is between blow drying and towel drying. Why do you use one rather than the other... in what situations do you towel dry instead of blow dry and vice versa? What are the advantages and disadvantages? Cheers.

I don't blowdry my hair because it is very if done frequently damaging and  I am growing my hair out. So if you want long, healthy hair, you might want to blow dry as little as possible.
Blowdrying is a good way to add volume on top. But when Iwant volume I'll pin my top layers of hair up so that the roots dry in the opposite direction they're used to. That also gives me lift and doesn't damage my hair.
I'm no expert on blowdrying though cause, like I said, I don't do it.

Also, if you towel dry, you shouldn't rub your hair back and forth between the towel to dry it. That is also damaging. You should just sqeeze the hair between the towel.
