ive noticed while browsing on myspace etc, some ladies really nice shiny hair.  im thinking about changing shampoos, do they have any shiny shampoos that don't weigh your hair down and make it look super nice and shiny?

or what kind of products do you guys use to get shiny look?

First, make sure your using a good shampoo, conditioner, and styling product.  Then, to really add some shine I like Aveda and Abba products.  I guess everyone's preferences are different but those are my favorites.

The 'Brilliant' line from Aveda contains many products which will add some shine to your hair and Abba's 'Mica' is an awesome spray shine!

Also, Abba has the 'True Shine Elixirs" which will help with shine.

Both are very nice (IMO)

Biosilk Silk Therapy serum adds shine to your hair and does
not weigh it down.  You only need a little.  The only thing
is that a bottle can be quite pricey.  Trade Secret sometimes
had 2 for 1 deals though and you can find it on ebay.

Three things commonly dull hair.  One is silicone buildup, two is hard water buildup, and three is damage.

To remove silicone buildup, use a clarifying shampoo (any one that says "clarifying" on it).  Don't use it every day, don't even use it every week.  These are made to remove buildup and only should be used once every 2 weeks to once every 2 months.  It will make your hair feel brittle and strawlike so plan to condition well afterwards (do it twice, or use a mayo treatment --- which is a fatty mayonaise on your hair for an hour, then wash out with regular shampoo).

If you have hard water, your hair will be much shinier if you do a dilute vinegar rinse last after you wash your hair.  Use about 1 tbsp vinegar in a cup of water, the smell will go away as your hair dries.  This causes the minerals to slide out of your hair leaving it much softer and not dull.  (If you already have soft water, it won't do you any good to do this, and you won't notice your hair feeling softer, because its already soft water-soft).

Damage, well, you can't really repair that, so you just have to minimize the use of any heat or chemicals to prevent it.
