hey everyone,
I want a punky or rockstar type of hair cut. My hair is medium length, thick and a bit wavy. mostly it tends to poof when air dried, so I'm willing to straighten it if I have to, but the less work the better. Any ideas? post photos!!

Thank for the tip! I actually used to have a cut a lot like that a few years ago only with less hair on the long part and spikes in the back . I liked it but my hair usually wouldn't cooperate. i didnt realize how wonky the back and sides would get until I saw some snapshots later on. It just never stayed like it should, but I've found a new hairstylist that would probably do a much better job with funkier cuts. The place that used to cut my hair was pretty much limited to old people and very plain cuts. when I told them to chop if all off they were more unsure about it than I was. for a lil bit I thought she might refuse to do it! :-P I may try this again. We'll see what other ideas I come up with in the mean time.
i'm from a small town in Ohio by the way.
