When I had my last install done, the sides were kind of skimpy, due to my hair being thin.  I am doing the fusion method, and my hair is really fine and thin.

I have seen pics of people having rows of them in the sides of their hair, but don't know what to do to get a "full" look.  I am going to have some help by my beautician friend, but this will be our first install on our own.

Also, I thought about doing some up to the part of my hair on top, and leaving some of my own hair out, if I end up getting curly next.  Do you think this would work, if I left enough hair out to curl, and hide the tips?

I really wanted to try French Refined by Bohyme, and wonder if I should just bite the bullet, and stick the hair I have coming back for a rainy day!  I have heard nothing but praise on the FR!

Hi Sissermom, creating enough volume on the sides has always been tricky for me too. I use to put tons of strands when I was wearing fusion, but they would show, when I tried Protac, it was so much easier.
Maybe you could try my little 'invisible Protac+LG" technique and put a few ofthem on the sides, just to keep some fullness and do the rest w/ fusion?

I agree with frenchie, the hidden wefts she does would hide a lot better on thin hair and you'd be able to go higher on the head.
