I was wondering if anyone could give me some info on Protac.  I've heard some good things about it for ppl who have fine hair....and Lord knows I do!!  Are there any extensionists in the Indiana/Ohio/Illinois area that do this type?  What does it entail and how much does it normally run??

Thanks for any info!!

Hi Sherrie!  Thanks for the welcome Smile  I've had some BAD experiences before so I'm trying to find something that will work with my ultra fine hair.  I've seen some of the posts from Frenchie...and it looks like a great method for me...I'm just not the do-it-yourself type! lol

completely understandable. DIY isnt for everyone. And there is nothin' wrong with being a salon princess! Wink In fact, if I could FIND a stylist I like and TRUST with my hair I'd be a salon princess for life! Big%20smile

Hey Puffin, it's such a simple process that if you have a stylist you
like I'm sure she/he can do it for you. I tried liquid gold and it's good
if you like to do it yourself. Now I get sew ins because I don't like
putting adhesives and adhesive removers such as acetone and goo gone
on my hair and scalp. I pay $30 per track and I'm really happy with this
method.

I would do the sew ins on top if I could cover them decently.  The last time I had extensions the girl didn't put them up far enough on my head and they looked awful!  She thought that I wouldn't be able to pull it off since my hair is fine...but I've seen other ppl with fine hair pull it off so I'm trying to figure out where to go.  Where did you get yours Malibu?

Hi B.B.! I would be interested :) You can email me at mailto:fifi@toobookoo.com - fifi@toobookoo.com to give me more details.  Do you work at a salon in Louisville?  I'm in southern Indiana so I'm only an hour away from you.

Hi Beth, I am in Cincinnati (sorry to butt in on this post) and I am having the same problems in locating someone in this area that can do extensions and do them well! Would you be interested in a new client? I need some help getting started on what to get etc. PM me if so I would love to have someone to work with on this :)
