With the departure of Don Imus from MSNBC, Alex Witt is getting a lot more air time. Witt -- who occasionally is credited with having the best hair among newsbabes (by others besides myself!) -- appears to have a tad shorter hair this weekend. Either that or it just looks shorter because it's curled. Before:

Maybe she has more tucked behind her shoulders than normal? Looks like there's a pretty decent reduction in volume to justify that... As a side note, has anyone ever seen her wear her hair back or up? |

She is among those with the best quality hair on TV. Good hair genes run in her family. She's related to redhead actor Alicia Witt... and another individual, well-endowed in the hair department.  |

| IMO I think it looks better less fluffy. Fluffy makes her face look small and overwhelmed but agree she looks best with long hair as it gives something other than her face to look at. |

I'm glad to see that Alex still has her hair long, but it seems like it is the same length that it was two years ago. I wish she would let it grow several inches longer. I think she would look fantastic if she did that.

I agree it looks good and is certainly healthy, beautiful hair. I was just asking about change since usually people only post updates when something has changed in a style, and I couldn't find the change here.
But since you asked, to me it's just a shade on the bland and heavy side. It's one version of the standard female anchor style. Hair that thick and pretty could do a lot more. I'd suggest almost anything, from adding more layers, to some loose curls, to softening her face with sideswept bangs. Just something to change it up a bit.
