Reply to message: viewthread.asp?forum=AMB%5FAP804060353&id=2732&page=1#21.2739.1 - 21.2739.1 definitley do what the last person said. there are many varieties of shampoos which wil gradually lighten your hair, and you will pay less for most of them then you would pay for a box of haircolor. i dont know if adding color to shampoo would actually work, but heres a little info. they give you all the things that come with haircolor in a box for a reason. reason being, is that you need all the components they give you to achieve the right balance of the mixture for your color to come out right. i.e. : if you just use the actual color that comes in the box, just the color bottle and nothing else, you wont achieve a lot with it. you could mix it all up, but heres the thing, after color sits in the bottle for more then a half hour or so, it WILL explode. so i dont see any possible way that you could mix it up, and keep using it to put in your shampoo. i doubt it would explode in the shampoo bottle, b/c its mixed with the shampoo, but it would explode in the actual mixing bottle that comes with your coloring kit. so there is no way to keep normal over the counter hairdye for that long. and trust me, it is messy if it explodes. just thought id clue you in, so you can avoid the mess.
