I have highlighted blonde hair. My natural color is dark brown, and i want my natural color back. Is it safest to let the hair grow out or get a color wash to restore the natural hair color? Thanks! I really appreciate the help!

How much of your hair is highlighted? If it is not too extensive, growing out would be the least damaging to your hair. Coloring over it would be the second-best choice (choose the shade carefully so as not to go too dark in the highlighted areas). If the highlighting is very extensive, to avoid the two-tone effect of letting your color just grow out, have a professional use a similar formula with a highlighting method. In three to four visits, you will be able to stop coloring and not have an obvious line. Let us know what you decide and how it worked for you.
