Hello!

I recently bought some Born Blonde hair toner in "Silver Blonde".

I have multi coloured blonde hair. Some of it is really light and some fairly dark.

My question is, when I apply the toner, will it reduce red/orangy tones in the darker areas of my hair? Or will it not affect it at all?

Secondly, the toner I bought says "lasts for 8-10 washes" ....I thought toners were more of a permanent way of getting rid of undesired tones? Why would it wear off in so few washes? Does this mean I should be usiing it every week and a half?

You could perhaps use a 3% peroxide with your toner which will make it last longer chick.  mmm silver blonde, whenever I've used a silver shampoo it has a violet base so that counteracts yellow tones, normally you need something with a blue base to counteract orange tones, does it say anything on the box x

I think it's normal for a toner to wash out that quickly. Mine usually stays in my hair about 2 or 3 weeks. There are different kinds though.
