Hello...

You might put your pigtails in while your hair is wet, this makes the best looking pigtails. You might also use a bit of Monoi or Jojoba oil while braiding.

You can start at your neck and don`t have to have them sticking out the side of your head like Pippi Longstocking.

If you can wear these all day long and then to bed, you might roll the ends up in a curler without the elastic, and the next day you will have incredible waves!

Oh Karen Marie I was laughing so hard when you mentioned Pippi Longstocking. Now that was one very unique and one of kind of style for sure. As a child I oftened wondered if she stuck wires in her hair to make them look like that. Well anyways that was a treat that you mentioned Pippi Longstocking. ONe very independent little girl. lol

depends on what you want... braids... just regular pigtails.... and it depends on the length of your hair.
if you put braids in one day, then the next put them higher up for waves, like britney spears (okay, i hate her music but she`s pretty), and spray that with tigi headbanger wax spray to give it some hold
