Hello,

I know that washing your hair too often supposedly doesn't damage hair, but will leaving gel in my hair for longer (2-3 days) negatively affect it? I'm trying to grow it out (Male) but like the second day look. Thanks!

You shouldn't leave gel in your hair. Not only does it build up on you, but can clog pores in your scalp. That is never good. I have a male friend who started loosing alot of hair when he started leaving gel in it. He stoped and the hair fall stoped too.

If you like that second day look, there are products designed to produce that effect. There is a product by Jonathan called dirt, that is supposed to be great. You can find it at Sephora or QVC.
