Hey I'm new here.. seems like a cool place.

I'm currently in the process of growing my hair out from shoulder length to waist length. Right now the longest layer is about 10 inches from the nape of my neck.  What a lonnnnnnng process growing out hair is.. jeez. And trying to keep it healthy is even more difficult!!

I'm really into organic hair products and essential oils, I find they work so much better than any salon/expensive products... plus they don't leach chemicals into your scalp or coat your hair with plastics and wax and crap like that.

So yeah, looking forward to exchanging lots of tips and product recommendations on here, if you ask anyone I know they will def. tell you i'm a freak about my hair (and skin) being soft and healthy all the time.  So this seems like the right place for me as far as the hair part goes!

See you around the forums...

Peace,
SS

Thanks for the welcome, ladies!

Sarsvati, I read your thread that you have in your signature.. very interesting! You know.. I'm sure people hundreds of years ago couldn't very well run to the nearest salon and pick up Redken products, so I'm sure they had to clean their hair somehow! You know? LOL I just don't think humans were meant to be in contact with all the unknown chemicals they put in commercial products these days. My hair and skin are in great shape without silicones and waxes and whatever else!

anyways, have a good weekend people! see you around   =)
