hmm...i know i should probably had put this in the product review or somethin` like that but i notice it is rarely visited so i decided to put this here;)

Well anyways...I have found a kind of hot oil treatment that i really really like...I am just now starting weekly treatments with queen helene`s Placenta oil. I really liked that stuff and got many compliments, and many weird looks when i said what i use hehe;)

but I also hear that monoi oil is a really really good kind to use weekly also...however my sally`s beauty shop doesn`t carry any monoi, so I was wondering if anybody could tell me the ways monoi oil would work on my hair compared to the placenta oil (or just if in your opinion which works better)

I am not familiar with that product. I can tell you that I really like Monoi Oil compared to other conditioners (like jojobo oil and honey/olive oil). It has worked wonders on my client`s dry hair. Very impressive. If you go to the Long Hair Lovers site ( http://www.bbahneycomm.com/longhairlovers/ - http://www.bbahneycomm.com/longhairlovers/ ), and select ARTICLES, you will find an article written by Jennifer Bahney about her experience with Monoi Oil and how it worked for her. I have gotten similar results.

heh...thank ya kindly merlin:P where is a place that i might be able to buy monoi oil? oh yah is that more over for just a condition or a kind of hair strengthning...i might just think about using my placenta oil as a hot oil treatment weekly, and since i wear a hat at work (have to cuz my hair is so long.) maybe put a lil` in my hair to keep it strong and not break while underneath the hat?

The Long Hair Lovers site sells their own version of Monoi Oil that I have used and gotten outstanding results with it. I have one client that had extremely dry hair that puts it in her hair all night and washes it out in the morning and her hair is like silk now. You shouldn`t have any trouble using it under a hat during the day.
