Naturally my hair is a medium ash blonde.
at the moment my hair is a red/ginger.
i really want to go back to my natural colour
my routes are showing and they hav changed to a more golden blonde.
i was going to get my friends autny to bleach my hair for me but she wont anymore because she says it might go wrong because I have already put a lot of colour in my hair already.
I'm thinking of bleaching it at home with schwarzkopf lightener/bleach
but im not quite sure.
if I do bleach my hair will it go any more orange than it is now?

it depends, is your red....dark or light red. You might just need to use t toner instead of bleaching if its lighter. You can always use a corrective color, or something that lifts all color...although I don't really have experience with them and I don't know if they're less harsh then bleaching. I know that red is one of the hardest colors to work with so even though I'm a do-it-yourselfer, I think I might recommend a salon (for once :)

If it is dark red go to the hairdresser red is hard to color though my hair is brown and to get it blonde I usually buy a highlighting kit and toner and put that through my hair and you can do it alot of different ways to get different looks depending on where you place them and how much hair you pull through the cap,you can also do it gradually getting lighter each time, but make sure you do conditioning masks too , too much chemicals will ruin your hair, foils are recommended for longer hair as it is too hard to pull through the cap without pulling hairs out too

well my hair is a fairly dark ginger but not that dark. its a bit lighter than auburn.
I don't want to go to the salon because I've already gone and asked how much it would be and they said the cheapest they could do it for was £100! and they said that they can't guarantee it will go back to my natural colour :S
if I bleach it, it can't go any worse? well condition wise yes but the colour can't go ginger because it's already ginger. ??? im confused lol

highlight gradually the one I used was http://www.clairol.com/brand/blonding/frostandtip.jsp - http://www.clairol.com/brand/blonding/frostandtip.jsp  you can always go lighter each time you do it, I found with my hair I have brown hair naturally and If I use a highlighting kit I usually have to leave it on for 1 hour to 1 half hours but if you do all over (full head ) it makes it pretty blonde and you can use it in black hair it cost around $20 dollars or they have an all over ultra blonding from Clairol Born Blonde but it says not to use it if you have coloured or processed your hair in the last 3 months...

It says on the website that you should dye your hair brown and I've already tried that and it went like a shade darker but its was still ginger and that was the last time i coloured my hair. since then its been slowly getting lighter but not much.

i think im just going to try bleaching it.

what do you recommend that i could get in the uk?

a toner lifts tones...it will not lighten your hair...now if you put bleach you will become orange first...you will need a very high lift color from the ash  series or beige
