Needless to say, most of us don`t receive every nutrient in its perfect proprotion. The two ingredients that most prenatal vitamins seem to have in larger proportions than general multi-vitamins and minerals are folic acid and iron (among others) -- both very important in pregnancy. If you are iron-deficient, then a prenatal vitamin would obviously help you catch up.
Have you been to a doctor recently to see if your iron is low? You want to be very careful with iron because too much iron can interference with calcium absorportion and cause many problems in the body. But, of course, if you`re iron deficient, then you do need extra iron!
As I mentioned in my other post to you, the only way vitamins and minerals can help your hair grow faster is if you`re deficient in those nutrients. A perfectly healthy person who is not deficient and takes special vitamins will not have any increase in hair growth at all.
