Hi all. I was thinking of purchasing some human hair that will be on wefts but I may not get to the install right away. Anyway, I have been told its okay to keep the hair for a bit and the best way is wrap it neatly and all going one direction in crepe paper or that kind of paper that you use for packing gifts thats crinkly and keep it in a drawer and touch it as little as possible to keep it clean of oils and dust. Does that sound good or should I just wait and try to get it as close to the install as possible so its not sitting around?

Sounds just fine. Hair is dead the second it leaves your head, so storing it isn't a problem. I've heard that some hair actually sits in warehouses for sometime before its even processed for extension use. I'd reccemend keeping it in a cool dry environment as well, just to be safe.

Okay thanks Bunny. Thats what I figured. There is no real differance in it sitting at the factory or sitting in a dry drawer someplace. The reason I wanted to order it a little ahead of time is the company is saying it could be 10 days before it even arrives since they have to weft it. Just trying to make sure I dont waste anybodys time.
