I frequent the salons/beauty schools for roller sets, but I'd like to learn how to do my own. I'd save even more this way. Can anyone tell me How to Roller Set my own Hair?

Ciao!

There are lots of different ways.  This is the beauty school technique.

Apply gel to wet hair.  Take sections no larger than the roller.  Lift the hair straight out from the head.  Roll your hair under with the roller.  Repeat and let dry.

You could also do it with a curling iron.  On dry hair, take a small section.  Spray the entire section with a thermal pump hair spray.  It must be thermal or it will fry your hair.  Curl the hair under with the iron.  Remove curl from iron.  Roll warm curl back up and clip onto your head with a small metal clippie.  This will set your hair.

Some salons are now wrapping hair, drying, then setting with rollers.
