Yo, I've been growing my hair for only three weeks and my hair is starting to curl up real tight. I can see some waves on the sides of my head, but they are hidden under those naps!

If you guys have any suggestions, please let me know! (Don't say keep brushing, i know that..) But if I have to use a comb or the h20 method, then let me know please! thx.

Around week 5 I used to comb it, try to keep it moisterized, and how long have you been waving for?

post some pics and i may be able too help u out bruh. and brush ur hair in the shower and then put some Lets Jam in it while ur hair is slightly damp. this may help, but post pics and i may be able to help more. But remember theres nothing that magically makes your waves better. u have to brush and over time they will come.

while your hair is low you got to keep your brushing up to par to keep those naps from forming while your hair is growing.

Naps are good.  A nap is simply a wave in its infancy.  All you need to do is brush vigorously, using the H2O method, with a medium or hard brush to expedite the wave training process.  Although you may not realize it, you're wolfin.  When you wolf your waves will tend to camouflage themselves in your naps.  Try to wolf for as long as you can, then get a haircut.  Make sure that you don't get your hair cut below its minimum wavelength to see results.

just keep brushing.  if your hair is very nappy then you might want to use a hard brush

What products are you using? That may also be the problem for your premature napping.

You have to find this out with the help of your barber.  Most wavers on this site don't go below a number one guard.
