You look absolutely fabulous with your new hair colour, Jemaniac.  Your hair looks very healthy as well. Marilyn would be jealous.LOL

It looks nice, but you should definitely lighten your eyebrows, that kinda makes it look funny..

edit: do you have a 'before' pic to compare to?

Thanks everyone!! I did it myself, with Garnier 100% Color bleach. Great stuff!! As for my eyebrows, well I kinda like the darkness of them with the extreme lightness of my hair. Big%20smile

Heres some before pics:

I like your eyebrows too. You look awesome. You got a lot of lift from that product. How long did it take you?

What part of Canada are you in, jemaniac?

Wow your lucky to get that much lift. Is the dark color your natural color?
I have tried Garnier Bleach,  It works pretty good, but I never got a uniform color like yours. Usually my roots don't lift as much and the two front part of my hair either... and I haven't been able to get mine THAT light!!! Very good job. I like your eyebrows too. Mine are black and I am blonde. To make the look a bit softer, I plucked mine fairly thin... just to make the look not so harsh.
I'm a fan of the kinda "FAKE" kinda cartoony kinda look so I think this looks good on you. It's a classic hollywood look.

Did you use a toner or is that platinum just from the bleach?

You know, you're such a pretty person. But I really like you with dark hair better. I think the blonde looks harsh and that your eyebrows are just too dark to go with that super-light color. I'd bleach my brows a bit if I were going to be that light.

did you sustain any damage?  it is hard to imagine you put that garnier bleach on that dark of hair and have it turn out so lovely....but what about damage? how long did it take you to do this?  you have us all going now...

It's not in the best shape, but I'm using lots of deep conditioners and treatments.  I left it in over an hour. I must say I too was shocked by the results.Tongue

ya, i'll bet...God loves you....here is what i did when i bleached my hair and it was in less than stellar shape....i bought some neutral protein filler and made a conditioner out of it...they tell you how on the back of the bottle, rinsec and then put on a heavy moisturizing conditioner.....you know what?  my hair really responded to that....they say you need protein and moisture for damaged hair, so that is what i did.  man, how long did you leave it on?  did your hair go from the dark to the platnum you have now in one application?

Keep your eyebrows, I wouldn't screw with em' either. Your going for the ol' school hollywood look and it works. Unless you want to look like your 'naturally' a blonde.
Wow an HOUR! Your brave. I won't leave bleach on longer than 40-45 mintues! And I have to lift from natural dark and dyed black so you got a def. better result!

Very classic result :) I like it, though like Kristie I have to admit I prefer your darker hair - both are VERY marilyn though :) I also agree you should SLIGHTLY tone your eye brows, but not a lot, I like darker brows for an old hollywood look too, but I think they're a TOUCH too dark, but not a lot. Amazing results from a bo though!
