new to the site and i must say, yalls waves r spinnin.  however i have a few ?'s  first of all ive got an ok wave pattern but i want it to look shinnier and slicker. 

 

if i use pink hair lotion at night with a wave cap, and lets jam in the morning when i go out, will my hair look slick and shiny.

does carrot creme/oil have a bad odor or good one?

does a du-rag work better than a wave cap? thanx

i also heard that if u brush ur hair alot, your hair will fall out?
is this true?
