Okay, so this was my first time using shrink links ever. I pre-tipped Bohyme 613(already toned into 3 shade of blonde) about 5oz. And I pre-tipped some 10/16 about 3oz. This is 18", 613 & 10/16d in Bohyme, pretipped, silky straight, about 200 pieces, AND I DID IT MYSELF!. Sorry, I had to get that out, it took me 10 hours (w/ breaks) to do it on myself. As you can see, my hair was super fu(ked before the extensions, and please note I am not entirely done yet. I hope this helps anyone else with severe damage who is thinking about getting extensions, but think their hair may be too thin or damaged. This was my only option IMO. :) .

The difference is amazing! It looks great so far. I take it by not done you mean a few more rows at the top? I bet it will look quite flawless once those are done. Do you know how many ounces you have used so far?

thank you for posting that Poose, it really helps to see the difference extensions can make, your 'after' is beautiful on you!.....are you doing any conditioning/reconstructing treatments to your own hair as well, and taking care not to overlap bleach when you touch up your roots? it takes perserverance to last 10+hours!! i love the headband too

Poose, you have done AMAZING job!!! Congratulations! My first extensions as a DIYer was nowhere near what you've done! You are really talented! The color match looks perfect and I the density is pretty 'big', 8 oz, that's a lot!!! From the back picture I see I don't think you need more rows personally! Well done! Oh and I love the 10/16 color!
