i have naturally curly hair. i tried to straighten it with an at home straightener kit, but it only frizzed my hair. i then tried to use an at home perm kit, but that didnt work either. now i have dry frizzy hair. i am conditioning my hair and useing hot oil treatments, but i am about to have a wedding and i want my curls back so i can look good for the wedding. a salon person told me not to perm it again. please tell me some secret recipie or anything to get my curls back. i dont want to use anymore chemicals (unless it will reverse the mess, but i doubt they have something like that:( i would greatly appreciate your help.

Your stylist is absolutely right...that last thing your hair needs right now is more chemicals. Normally, I would suggest using Sleepers curlers to get lots of natural curls without chemicals but I recently discovered a product that works even better. Check out www.heatcap.com I have used this product on a friend and can tell you the curls last for almost 2 days and it won`t harm your hair. Really a terrific product that works faster than hot rollers. I suggest you use a silk bonnet over the curlers before putting the heatcap on. If the wedding is in the very near future, the old standby of rag curlers will produce terrific curls without chemicals too. Good luck, happy curls, and have a nice wedding.
