Whats up fellas?  I'm new to the site and I'm really interested in getting my wave game tight!  I've always kept a low cut and have brushed the hell out of my hair and my waves are so so.  Over the years I've been told just to brush the hell out of my hair.  Since being on the site I got the proper technique down.  What products should I run out and get???  I've also been told that a texturizer is key to good waves.  Is this tru?  Let me know what you think!  Thanks for your help!

If you dont like that then try motions moisturizer. It's not really a holder but it gives u mad shine and keeps ur hair moisturized throughout the day.

Dont texturize your hair, those chemicals can enter the blood stream. You want to get you waves naturally. It takes a little longer but it's well worth it.

Lol, LDIZL.  But to address the question on hand, the first thing you should do is make sure that you are brushing in the correct manner.  If you are, I would recommend that you primarily use the H2O method until your complete base 360 wave pattern is set.  This is going to require alot of brushing.  Once this is complete, then I would find a good moisturizer to use daily.  Most wavers on this site prefer carrot creme, but it's personal preference.  But, make sure that you are brushing vigorously after the application of the moisturizer.  Obviously, you'll need to put on a durag or wave cap after your brushing sessions.  As far as an additional product you can buy to enhance your waves, I would recommend Let's Jam- orange top.  It is a great product for hold and shine and is a good substitute for pomade.

Also, after your next haircut, wolf for as long as possible to see best results.

Although I'm a senior member and HB All Star, I'm not an HB Vet.

If the Vets think that I'm deserving, I would be truly grateful to have the opportunity to serve HB in that capacity.
