Hi all! I'm new to hair talk and have a question. I had emergency surgery last Thursday 5/31/07, and was sedated with general anesthesia. I have heard that you are not supposed to dye you hair after receiving anesthesia. I also read on About.com that anesthesia leaves your body after 24 hrs and does not effect you hair after this time. I'm confused. Please shed some light on this topic, as I have some atrocious roots and desperately need a dye job. Thanks

I can't imagine why not, though I'm not a doctor or a cosmetologist. I would be curious to know what the answer is.
