I have a diagnoised form of hair loss typically caused by a type of stressor - emotional or physical, in my case because of chonric illness. It's called telogen effluvium, I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if they have any tips to help regrowth? I've heard Nioxin products can be helpful from friends with hair loss from thyroid diseases but I was wondering if anyone with my type has tried them? thanks a ton!

I have non-life-threathening chronic disease and has hair loss problem before treatment. Now after taking medicine for 1 and half months, my hair loss problem has improved and now every wash I only lost a few strands of hair.

Hi, this happened to me last year. its called tellogen effluvium. i lost hair strands from all over my scalp.
I have tried every "hair" pillWink. I am noticing serious results by taking 4 cystine capsules a day, from puritans pride vitamins. I also am eating 10 nori seaweed sheets a day, as Karen Sheldon recommended.
I also take 3 x 5000mcg biotin capsules.
I have a mowhawk happening with all the new growth. Take care Wink
