Anyone with hair and wishes to log in some serious brushing hours can get waves in some form or fashion. If you believe it you can achieve it. But the only factor thats relevant is the scientific factor. Science doesnt exculde ethnicity or hair texture from developing waves, therefore if you and I can acquire waves as different as our two hair textures are, then so can the next man or women. We are the proof.

and i wouldn't say that I'm a testament to the "fact" that all hair can get waves. it seems, to me anyway, that most white people have more fine hair then me, and definitely more straight. i just don't think hair like that can get waves, but i have no proof. ------------- "but this is the remix, with the cheap tricks, hittin' sweet licks, and I cut the braids off but the waves in the fade'll make you seasick!" |

here's a pic from a few months back (cut in half to protect my identity  ):
 that was like not too long after a shower, and pretty much air dried, not combed out or nothin. just cut that real low and brush and durag down and u got waves! i don't see straight hair gettin wavy, but i dunno.
