I did a born blonde toner in silent snow after my recent root touch-up and didn't see too much of a difference. I may try again in a few days.
I still feel like it's a little too yellow, but I may just be obsessing. I only have a mirror in my bathroom and everything looks yellow in there, so it's hard to tell!
I took a few pictures in natural light just to see what it looked like outside. The flash wasn't on, but I tried some different angles so they all look a little different.

Any ideas on if I'm being overly critical or if not what I can do to get it a little whiter?

I think it looks beautiful!!! I use John Frieda Sheer Blonde products, they really help to tone down yellowness.

You are SO obessesing! That is NOT yellow. I def. know how you feel though. Your wearing the color I'd like to get to eventually! Mine is Yellow...  I am so getting that Toner!!!! Silent Snow... looks really good I like it. It's an ashy color... no yellow to be seen.  I'm sure after a while you might get yellowy/brassy but just keep using a toner when it does.

Right now you are not sporting a hint of yellow! Wonderful! I'm so jealous. LOL

hahaha okay, thank you all! it's annoying how it looks different in every light i'm in, that's the thing about blonde i guess!

jemaniac - i love your color, it just looks more white and less beige and i guess that's kind of what i'm going for!

bambilee - if your hair is only yellow you might want to try Blissfully Blonde instead of Silent Snow - apparently you need to be bleached to pale yellow before using silent snow. they're pretty cheap though, so try either!!

Shimmer lights products (found at Sallys) are great at toning down any sort of unwanted tones-but I think it looks amazing! Looks like a very natural VERY light blonde with no yellow to me :) Georgous shade!

I wish they had great stuff like Shimmer Lights for other colors - the color specific ones I've tired for red just don't seem to work as well!  -  perhaps I'll have to give in some time soon and just go blonde! your shade is exactly what I'd like to do someday. :)
