Ive had spikey hair for about 5-6 years and i want a change. here are two pictures of me. first is recent second is about a year old.

i want something along the lines of the two pictures shown below.

 or

i have straight dark hair and its kinda thick so im not sure if i would be able to achieve the picture right above this text. if anyone could tell me  how to get those 2 styles, how long it would take ( my hair is at max right now  1.75 inches and it fades shorter so)if theres any special kinds of shampoos and also what to do with it until it gets there cuz i hate having my hair just normal with no gel lol. also i know the players hair looks somewhat wet because of the sweat in the game but how could i make my hair look like that when its long? is there any gel i could use that wouldnt make my hair hard unlike the gel i use now for spoiking? also if you have any other ideas on what would look good for me that would be great.

Thanks  A bunch!

i think you'd need some sort of fructis style thing, that doesn't make it hard so you can style it all day
