I am an african american male and for the past 5 months i have been growing my hair out. right now it's a little afro. i want my hair to be curly like will smith's in the movie "hitch" or like bobby valentino. do i need to go to a stylist to get it done or what? i know i can buy a s-curl kit at walmart or sally's but i want it to look really good and professional so i guess that means a stylist. could anyone give me some advice on this,and on what to tell the stylist what i want and maybe post some pics of will smith or bobby valentino's hair so i can show the stylist what i want. Thanks

I am a male also and love curls and waves. i have permed in the past, but it is not likely to be able to happen now. i have slightly longer hair and I blow dry with a round brush for body. Does anyone know of a good product that i could use when I blow dry to keep my hair wavy or curled? ------------- Tommi |
