I would like to know if anyone could tell me which shampoos and conditioners are good for dry hair and scalp.  Are Mizani products good ones?

Hi nickyp I like Kenra MC (no cleansing detergents) and Kiehls Amino acid (coconut cleansing detergent) they are very gentle and wash the hair without stripping it. I love Kenra MC and Miss keys 10 en 1 for deep conditioning. Its been a long time since I used Mizani and it was so-so for me. HTH

I highly recommend the Nature's Prescription aloe vera hair maintnance system by Naturceutics, Inc. It's a small company but they make outstanding products. All of their products are made with aloe vera and shea butter which will help to keep moisture in your hair. I personally know the sista that invented the products (she's a Pharmacist). You can check it out @ http://www.naturceutics.com - www.naturceutics.com .

Check out the ingredients on other shampoos and conditioners, 99.9% of them list water as the base ingredient, which means they have over 70% water in them. All Nature's prescription products are aloe vera based (NO Water).

If you want to have healthy looking hair again, give them a try. Nature's Prescription.
