i dont know if anyone else has this problem. im a barber, and many of my clients have been coming in complaining that they have warts on their hairline. i noticed this going on for sometime now. i noticed its mainly ppl with waves or trying to obtain them. they asked me for advice and i just said use wart remover band aids they sell for ya fingers. i have waves but no warts or ever had any. maybe you guys have any inputs.. ------------- THE BLACK WALLSTREET IZ COMIN' |

dun wartz come from grease?..it cud b dat dere puttin alotta grease in dere hair..wen ur hair is longer it comes out over ur hairline..it cud be dat wen u cut dere hair, da part of dere head dat was covered b4 it exposed..n da grease dey put on dere head is makin dem have warts -------------

That's not true. Warts do not come from grease. They are caused by a viral, not bacterial, infection.

True, are they SURE they are getting warts? It's them not you...except buy a new pair of clippers and sh*t do your part so they cant blame you cause once the word gets out they aint gonna come back to you. Be as clean as possible.

| It cant be warts unless you can remember someone with warts using the clippers. it could be spots or blocked pours or somthin, just make sure you spray peoples hairline with that tea tree oil stuff. |

i spray my clippers with cool spray alot, too keep them cool so wen i line up it dont burn u. i also use disinfectant spray and alcohol on the blades n hairlines. maybe i cut someone before, they had warts n now my clippers are jus infected. im gonna ditch them n get new ones. good news tho is that they all come back to me n i aint losin heads in the shop lol ------------- THE BLACK WALLSTREET IZ COMIN' |

This can be from all types of things, but mostly occuring from you the barber. If your clients can prove that it's from you, serious action can be taken against you and the shop owner.
Here's some of the things that can cause bumps.
1).Your clippers. Cool lube is not a disenfectant! What type of disenfectant do you use? it has to be epa registered. And it has to state on the can it kills the influenza, hepatitus, hiv and all the other virures people have.
And instructions state to clean the clippers free from hair and then spray both sides of blade and wait ten minutes before using the to give the disenfectant time to work.
*Alcohol dont kill shhiitt theses days.
2).Also you may have a dull clipper blade, causing irratation to sensitive areas of the skin.
3). You may have a rusty blade or rust inside the clippers themselves which can cause these symptoms.
4). Washing your hands before and after every cut is state regulations. I know this can be time consuming in a busy shop, but like Big Boi said in ATL "cleanlyness is next to godlyness". Seriously, very important factor.
5) from what I read in your post its safe to say you are the cause, in some form or fashion.
Those reading this should know that Trimmer/liners are Surgical instruments, which means they can and do cut through skin, whether you see blood are not.
Which means,,,, if you Barber doesnt clean his or her clippers correctly, It would be like two junkies sharing the same needle, We all know what that bring fourth, the mixing of blood, disease, infections etc. Only difference is a barber can have a pair of clippers for 2-3 years before replacing the blades. This is alot of shiitt going on.
Man you spreading disease like wild fire, real talk. You need to trouble shoot everything starting with the Trimmers and ask god for forgivness and hope you didnt spread something more serious than a wart.
