there's been discussion on it over at diyextension's forum. those that have done installs, had some success, but some strands coming out.  I have the system also, yet have only been practicing on a mannequin, trying different size bonds, and getting comfortable with it before installing on myself. (i haven't installed anything on my head before but clip ins!)

I strongly suggest NOT waiting to install the TT just before your Vegas trip. It seems there is alot of trial and error with this system. I would hate to hear that you've installed it, then say, the next day arrive in vegas, and they're loosening up and falling out!  I would try it at home first, and see how your technique holds with the bonds. If it doesn't, at least you won't be taking time out of your trip to 'redo' anything.  the best thing with this method is that the take down is quick and easy, but would hate for you to have to deal with it on your trip.
the most common error I've heard is not using enough of your own hair to attach the bond and extension strand.

I went on vacation with mine in and the hair itself literally died from swimming in the pool! The bonds held up fine.

O.K girl, give us the scoop. What do you mean "died"Dead? You can't fix it? I thought it was virgin hair? I'm glad the bonds survived.

Virgin? Oh helll no. It tangled and matted. I had a blend of remy and non remy in the install.
Blonde hair always craps out quicker than darker hair because of the decolorizing process.
I have 5 oz of virgin blonde on the way for my next install!

Thanks pooks11!!! Excellent to hear at least the TT bonds survived, as there was still some concern over that, especially since it's summer Cool  Alot of us still question how the TT bonds might hold up in the ocean, if anyone can testify on that scenerio?
My condolences on the death of your hair. that's a sad loss. Have you at least tried to resuscitate(sp?) the Remy hair in an overnight oil/deep conditioner bath? I've heard of some girls doing that, and it working.
Where did you get the virgin blonde, if I might ask? (i'm a blonde family member) thanks!

I did a Redken CAT treatment, an overnight soak in some BES Midopla, this hair was D-E-A-D!
I got the virgin blonde from this link:

that hair looks so pretty- but my question would be, how do you know if it is really from that head like advertised. Also- do u do a chemical wash to make sure there are no problems with it?

ok vegas in july- when are u going? we will be there the last week july to beg august, i have a few clients to do and also vacation!

Nope, it was the Tiffany hair. The chlorine just killed it.

I am taking them on faith that it is the hair advertised, since I pay through paypal I can file a claim if the hair is not what was advertised.

I will examine the hair, wash it in detergent and deep condition before using.

some people wash their synth hair in Downy. A few even wash their own hair in it. Maybe you should try that. They seem to prefer the lavander scentLOL
