I was thinkin about gettin locks and i wanna know how long my hair should be to start twisty's so they can become locks in tha future.....

Do you have tightly kinky hair? What is your hair texture?
 
If it is tightly curled hair then you need about 1-1.5 inches of hair stretched to get comb coils, finger coils or any other kind of twists.
 
If you have straight hair, you would need a bit longer to start the locs..bout 3 inches.

Depends! How is the texture of your hair? coils you can start with real short hair. I would say about 2-3 inches! But be advised those puppies will unravel when you wash them!!!!!!
