Does anybody know where I could get a jetset color ring?  I absolutely LOVE their slim weft, but I keep having to order and return the hair because they have been out of color rings and the colors are SO off based on the pics on website.  Anyone???
AND I cannot get a response from customer service for the life of me, but they are SO quick to ship!!!!  LOVE IT!!!!  Now just to figure out my colors....

the only place to get the color ring is from jetset, unless someone has one they are willing to part with. I have a jetset color ring. Maybe I can help you out by comparing colors.

I do have a color ring, but I use it all the time so I can't sell it.

I do like how fast they ship.  I mostly have received good hair from them.  I just ordered new hair for myself from them.  I ordered the slip wefts and zig zag stitched them on my sewing machine to make clip ins.  I'll post a picture sometime.

I wish those folks had a telephone number to call!

Metal, why do you order hair from different suppliers? Do you find that certain vendors have good hair in one color, texture or length and crappy in others so you can only buy certain products from certain ones and therefore you have to use many suppliers? Or do you just like varietySmile?

On their web site there do they show a close up photo of the Slim Weft? I am interested to see what it looks like. The hair looks good. Nice color assortment/texure and they do a good job of close up detailed photos.

the slim weft is what most people refer to as a handtied weft. Heres a picture of the slimweft:

There are a bunch of pictures in this post:

Thanks Sherrie! Oh I see. I thought the "slim weft" was some sort of grand new invention even surpassing the micro handtied lol. It looks to be about the same thinness of what I ordered recently. The hair does look fantastic though! Thanks for the photos. Sometimes I want to try those tight spiral looking curls as I have always loved them and been jealous of girls that have them naturally lol. The only thing is how would that work if you sewed in tight spirals and the natural hair is straight? It would mean constant curling of the natural hair right unless you permed it? Probably too much work. Has anyoin tried that? Thank you sherrie.

you could get a full head sewn-in weave. NONE of your own hair would be exposed.

Hmm. I guess so. That would be like the braids going all over your head right? I guess its an idea. I think I will start slow with a partial weave and three wefts and live with that a while and see how I like it first before going any further. Its an idea though and would be fun for a while at least. Maybe not real long but shoulder length water type spirals.

or you could use a closure or lace frontal to cover the crown.

Hve you ever worn tight spirals as extensions? Does the hair basically keep that look for a while or start to unravel? Do you need to use tons of curl type products?

Yes, I use different vendors because they I haven't found one that carries everything that I need at the prices I want to pay.

I like jetset because they have decent hair, at a good price, and they don't charge you more for the slip wefts.   I also like the fact that they will sell it in two ounce increments, that comes in handy when you are blending colors and lengths.

If you were doing a full head sew in there wouldnt be any blending issues. But if you are leaving hair out it would be alot of work to try to blend two very different textures and make it look natural. If leaving hair out its best to match the texture of your hair and the extensions, unless you want to do alot of work to make two textures blend together. Its not too bad blending two textures that are close or similar, but trying to blend  straight hair with a tight spiral could mean alot of work and frustration.

yeah that is what I figured. i guess you could do a spiral perm to your natural hair if doing a partial weave but I HATE perms. I have never had one that was not damaging. Its like fire shoots out of those bottles and I wont do it again lol.

As far as the full weave, I might try that at some point but since im brand new to sew ins, I want to first try these 3 wefts i bought, see how that goes and how I like it. Spiral curls just seems to advance for me right now and I would prefer to stick with straight. Thanks.

Sherrie, I am trying to place my order with Jetset and have a few questions since you (or anyone else) have a color ring.  I am extremely pale blonde (ash undertones) along with number 15.  I am wanting to go a bit darker than the 15 (possibly 4) and add a third color.  Which color would you add that has the least gold or red to it?  Again, I prefer ashy.  I am looking at 18, but the pic online looks a little red, or maybe something a little lighter.  Any thoughts?

By the way, I wear #60 (Florence) along with my 15 currently.  Is the 613 pretty gold, just like the Bohyme?  And how about that #21 Beige Blonde?  I don't think they carry it but it sure does look pretty.

hey kristiemlove, the 15 is very ashy. And not many colors on jetsets color ring are as ashy as this.  Most of the colors in between the 17 and 20 have at least a little bit of gold tone. The least gold of these IMO are the #17, #19. They are more on the ashy side but I can still detect a hint of gold. The #21 is very similar in color to the #22 but much paler and no gold tone. The #614 is a little lighter and paler/no gold than the #613

BTW the #22 and #613 are nearly the same. The same goes for the #21 and #614

Sherrie, thanks so much for the help.  I am leaning towards that 19 I think.  One more question, How about the 4?  It looks to have a little red in it, is that the case, nor should I stick with my 15?

Here are a few pictures. These are not the best, its been storming and very gloomy here today . Everything appears more yellow than they really are, so keep in mind none of the colors look as gold as these photos

I will try photos again on a brighter day, when the colors will appear more accurate.

kristiemlove, I was gonna mention that the #4 does have a bit of warmth. The #15 is much more ashy, and not as dark as the #4
